AMSU's academic campaign continues

Imphal, July 31 2026: As part of the 61st Chaklam Khongchat Ningshing Thouram, the All Manipur Students ' Union held an academic campaign at RM School, Kwakeithel on Friday.

Speaking at the event, AMSU secretary general Salam Changkhonba said Manipur once thrived on self-reliance and community support, but today feces increasing dependence.

He stressed that without self-help, survival is difficult.

The campaign, he added, aims to instill self-reliant thinking among students who will shape the future, with the goal of building a "Self-Reliant Manipur".

Similar academic campaigns were also conducted at Tampha Quality Academy and SV Getwell School in Haotal, Imphal East.

Nongthongbam Rakesh, secretary general of AMSU Imphal East District Committee, along with district members, attended the programmes.

Resource persons spoke on the key roles and responsibilities of students in society.
