Four new cases detected, active tally falls to 20

Imphal, September 11 2022:
Day after reporting zero new case of Covid-19, the state on Sunday reported four new cases from three districts out of 278 samples tested in the last 24 hours and recorded test positivity rate of 1.4 per cent.
The four fresh cases (1 male & 3 females) are residents of Chandel (2), Churachandpur (1) and Imphal East (1) districts.
Sunday also reported 11 recoveries following which the number of active cases came down to 20 out of which 12 are in home isolation.
No death case Was reported on Sunday and the death toll stands at 2148 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus had infected 1,39,759 individuals including 5,021 CAPF personnel.
There are 36 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
In the last 24 hours, 53 D-type and 19 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities and 343 vaccine doses administered that took the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,37,126, out of which 13,13,538 had received the second dose and 2,53,854 had taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49800), Imphal East (32024), Thoubal (10290), Churachandpur (11279), Kangpokpi (3183), Tamenglong (3496), Bishnupur (9977), Senapati (2546), Ukhrul (3364), Kakching (6973), Chandel (2794), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1210), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477).Fatality counts in different districts remain unchanged with Imphal West at 712, Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (16), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5) and Pherzawl (0) .
