MCM grateful to CM, IGAR(S) for saving Langamba

Imphal, September 20 2024: Meetei Council Moreh (MCM) has expressed deep appreciation to chief minister N Biren and IGAR (S) Maj Gen Ravroop Singh for their swift and decisive actions in saving the life of one Laishram Langamba Singh (Naoba) of Moreh Khunou Leikai, Ward No 9.In a statement, MCM said that Langamba, who was staying at his wife's place near Geljang Resort in Churachandpur, faced a life-threatening situation on September 19.Upon learning of the imminent danger, MCM reached out to CM Biren, who immediately ordered security forces to act, ensuring Langamba's safe rescue.

MCM and Langamba's family are deeply indebted to the CM for his timely intervention, the statement said.

MCM also expressed profound gratitude to Maj Gen Ravroop Singh for his crucial role in the rescue operation.

The council praised his timely response and efforts that helped avert a potential tragedy, praying for his continued success and wellbeing.

The people of Moreh and the family of Laishram Langamba Singh are immensely thankful to both leaders for their efforts in ensuring his safety, the statement added.
