CWAF observes 4th foundation day

Imphal, January 13 2022: The 4th foundation day celebration of Cultural Workers and Activists Forum (CWAF) Manipur was held at Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory Auditorium, Langthabal Kunja today.

The foundation day celebration was graced by Rupachandra Yumnam, Chief Editor, Impact TV and Budha Chingtham, president CWAF as the chief guest and president respectively.

Addressing the gathering, Budha Chingtham stressed on the significant role played by the media towards safeguarding the culture of Manipur.

Stating that media helps in promoting and preserving the culture of Manipur, he said that without the role of media, the culture of the State would have been in a regressive state.

Speaking as the chief guest, Rupachandra Yumnam said that one's identity is defined by the cultural backgrounds and also assured to extend best possible help from media for the development of culture in the State.
