Kangpokpi DC reviews preparations for 80th I-Day, Har Ghar Tiranga

Kangpokpi, July 31 2026: Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Chaudhari convened a coordination and preparatory meeting with Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs), District Level Officers (DLOs)andotherconcemedof-ficialsattheDCConferenceHall here today to review preparations for the upcoming 80th Independence Day celebrations and the nationwide Har Ghar Tirangacampaign.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner focused on task allocation and planning for security arrangements, ground venue preparation, invitations, cultural troupes, and the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

During the session, the DC urged SDOs to spearhead celebrations at their respective Sub- Divisional levels, while DLOs were instructed to ensure full departmental participation.

The agenda outlines extensive preparations, including a press conference on August 7, a police-led bike rally on August 10, Patriots' Day observances on August 13, and the main Independence Day event on August 15 featuring a general salute, cultural troupes and ceremonial band party.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will run from August 9 to 17, with flaghoisting across all government offices, police establishments, schools, Anganwadi centers, healthcare units, financial institutions, and local markets, alongside special historical exhibitions by the ZEO and Police Department, and digital "Selfie with the Tiranga" campaigns managed by DIPR .
