AR conducts Ex-Servicemen Meet

Imphal, October 18 2024: As part of its continuous effort to support former soldiers and their families, Assam Rifles organised an Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Meet at L Koirang in Imphal West district on Thursday.

According to a release issued by PRO HQ IGAR(South), the meeting was organised to strengthen the ties between the Assam Rifles and its retired personnel while addressing their concerns and welfare needs.

The meet witnessed the participation of 18 ESM, accompanied by their dependents.

The event featured interactive sessions where ESM and their families expressed their grievances, discussed redressal mechanisms, and sought assistance for their welfare.

The Assam Rifles reaffirmed its dedication to the welfare of its veterans, ensuring that their needs and issues are heard and addressed.

The event fostered camaraderie and a sense of bonding among the ESM, their families and the Assam Rifles personnel.
