Thoubal, September 06 2024: Khorirol Sandoklup, Wangjing, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Thoubal District Branch, Ningol Khut Manipur and Sahitya Yok-khat Kanglup (SAYOKA) Tentha organised a condolence meeting to mourn the passing of Laimayum Manao Singh, former Manipur University Finance Officer and Manipur Public Service Commission member on September 4, 2024 .

According to a statement issued by Khorirol Sandoklup, the condolence meeting was held at the Lup office at Wangjing this afternoon at 3 pm .

The gathering observed a two-minute silence to pay their respects to the deceased and mourn his sudden passing.

During the meeting, Late Laimujam Manao's contribution and participation in literary activities was also recalled as well as his dedicated efforts for the development and welfare of the State.

The gathering also offered prayers for the departed soul to rest in peace while sharing in the grief of the bereaved family.
