BAMSAS set to observe RK Kamaljit's birth centenary

Thoubal, October 23 2024: The Bangladesh Manipuri Sahitya Sansad (BAMSAS) is gearing up to host the birth centenary celebration of renowned social activist Rajkumar Kamaljit Singha at Sylhet Sahitya Sansad hall tomorrow.

The event will be graced by noted poet AK Sheram as the functional president; Pulin Roy, poet and president of Sylhet Sahitya Parishad and Rahanama Sabbir Choudhuri Moni, president, Biswa Bangla Sahitya Parishad as the guests of honour.

A poetry session will also be held on the occasion.

Notably, the year-long observance of RK Kamaljit's 100th birth anniversary kicked off at Tripura in August, 2024 .

It was also observed in Imphal on October 20 .
