5-day FDP concludes

The Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Hyderabad in collaboration with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell, Manipur University concluded a 5-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Rural Immersion today.
The programme was inaugurated by Professor N Rajmuhon Singh, Dean School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences as chief guest on August 14 at the seminar hall of the Manipur University Teachers Association (MUTA), said a statement of the Nodal Officer Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell MU.
The inaugural programme was attended by L Roshan Singh, Member Langthabal Zilla Parishad, Nodal Officer of UBA Cell MU Dr Ch Ibohal Singh, faculty of MGNCRE Nutsulu Rhakho and S Kuyuchu.
A total of 32 persons participated in the programme.
Various activities were conducted in two of the five adopted villages of Manipur University - Langthabal Chingthak and Oinam Leikai.
Lecture, demonstration, working with community people, report presentation and presentations were taken up during the programme.
Professor Amar Yumnam, Vice Chancellor i/c MU and Professor M Ranjit Singh, president MUTA attended the closing function, said the statement.
