Imphal, October 11 2021:
The All Kangleipak Students Union (AKSU) has sought the attention of the Chief Minister to look into the irregularities in connection with the recruitment of teachers in Shri Shri Mukunda Dev Music College (SSBDMC) .
AKSU in a letter addressed to the Chief Minister, apprised him of the irregularities surrounding the recruitment of teachers in the college which is the lone music college in the State.
The student body alleged that teachers have been recruited in the college defying the set rules and regulations which is really unfortunate.
Further AKSU claimed that some of the teachers of the college holds posts at other Government institutes as well which is the violation of the norms however the authorities concerned have turned a blind eye on the matter.
Considering the aforementioned reasons, AKSU has urged the Chief Minister to intervene and streamline the irregularities of the college at the earliest and take up appropriate actions against the perpetrators.
AKSU also earnestly appealed to the CM to help in uplifting the music lovers of the State.
