Drugs worth Rs 4 lakh recovered

Thoubal, September 06 2024: As part of their relentless effort to curb drug abuse, volunteers of Arambai Tenggol Unit 2 in collaboration with Yairipok Bamon Leikai meira paibis recovered WY tablets and heroin no 4 worth Rs 4 lakh in the market.

As per a press release issued by Jotin Thokchom, Control Room, AT Unit 2, the drugs were recovered during a drive conducted on September 4 in areas under the jurisdiction of AT Unit 2 .

The seized narcotic substances were subsequently disposed off in full view of the public.

Extending gratitude to everyone who supported AT Unit 2 during the drive, the press release further stated that similar drives will be conducted in association with local clubs and meira paibis in the future to uproot the menace of drug abuse.
