AR pays tribute to brave-hearts

Imphal, December 05 2022: Keithelmanbi Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR(South) organised a wreath laying ceremony to honour Late Rifleman KS Yimchunger at Keithelmanbi Garrison, Imphal West district on December 5 .

A release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) informed that the braveheart made the supreme sacrifice for the cause of Nation on this day in 2006 at Joupi, Manipur.

All ranks of the Battalion paid their respect by laying wreaths & according guard of honour.

Similarly, Khuga Battalion also organised a wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the supreme sacrifice made by Late Col Viplav Tripathi of 46 Assam Rifles in a deadly ambush at National War Memorial, New Delhi.

The family members of Late Col Viplav Tripathi were also invited to the National War Memorial to lay wreath and honour the supreme sacrifice made by the braveheart.

Later, family members of Col Viplav were felicitated at the National War Memorial.
