Imphal, November 01 2026: Prizes were distributed to the top rank holders of the 5th State Level Mathematics and Science Olympiad, 2026, organised by EduTruth Kota Coaching Classes, EduTruth Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd, which was held on August 30.The prize distribution ceremony was held today at Gandhi Memorial (GM) Hall, Imphal.

Speaking as chief guest, Dr Dhanabir Laishram said the declining number of students proficient in Mathematics and Science and the lack of interest in the two subjects in the region shows that the thinking capacity of the people is narrowing.

He said at a time when critical thinking is declining among students, it is essential to hold competitions in Mathematics and Science.

Stressing the great role of parents in shaping a child, Dr Dhanabir said if parents nurture their children with proper care and discipline, they can become good citizens.

If students value time, develop knowledge and follow good conduct, they can become successful persons, he added.

Presiding over the function, advisor of EduTruth Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd Dr Leimapokpam Tikendra said EduTruth, which has been providing JEE and NEET coaching to Class XI and XII students, has now started coaching classes for students from Class VI to Class X to produce better students from the region.

Proprietor of SUR Hospital, Khangabok Dr Somenkumar Laishram and academic manager of EduTruth Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd Naorem Jonsan attended the function as guests of honour.
