Tengnoupal, March 25 2022: A one day media sensitisation programme on "Newly adopted HTV/AIDS (Prevention & Control) Act 2017" was held today at the conference hall of Meetei Council Moreh (MCM) .

The programme was organised by Khelen Thokchom Trust, Manipur under the sponsorship of Manipur State Aids Control Society (MACS) .

It was attended by MCM president, M Thoiba; All Community Development Organisation Moreh (ACODOM) president, Th Budha Meetei; Khelen Thokchom and I Arun.

High Court Manipur, Advocate K Rabei; New Generation (FSW & FIDU), K Joymati; DPU Moreh project manager, L Lucky; OSOM project manager, Babli; OSD project manager.

Doujathang and ISTV News editor, Helendro Maibam also attended the event as spokesperson.

At the event, Helendro Maibam elaborated on how media persons should report news related to persons with HIV/AIDS.
