Reception ceremony held

Imphal, October 23 2024: The National Research Centre (NRC), Manipur on Wednesday organised a reception ceremony in honour of Dr Arambam Noni, Khuraijam Athouba and Heikrujam Jodha, who participated in the recently held 57th Session of United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and Side Events at Geneva, Switzerland.

The ceremony held at Naorem Sanajaoba Public Library Hall, opposite Manipur University Main Gate, was attended by Dr L Premananda, Head, Law Department, Manipur University; Dr Arambam Noni, Associate Professor, Political Science Department, DM University; Khuraijam Athouba, working president, IPSA; Heikrujam Jodha, human rights & environment activist and Thongam Ajit, president NRC as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr L Premananda lauded Dr Arambam Noni, Khuraijam Athouba and Heikrujam Jodha for giving a detailed account of the Manipur crisis at the 56th Session of UNHRC and side events held in Geneva.

"Everyone should acknowledge the significant contribution made by the trio in making the people across the Globe understand the truth behind the ongoing conflict which began on May 3, 2023", he added.
