RIMS gym building inaugurated

Imphal, July 23 2022: A newly constructed building of gym and fitness centre of RIMS was inaugurated at RIMS Gymkhana complex on Saturday with RIMS director Prof A Santa, Medical Superintendent Prof Sanjib Nepram and Engineering cell civil section consultant M Hemantakumar among others attending the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof A Santa stressed the need on the part of medical students to keep their body fit and healthy, in addition to studying.

The top floor of the newly inaugurated building will be utilised as library hall for RIMS medical students so as to address the inconvenience they general face due to congestion of the library at RIMS A block.

In his address, Prof Sanjib said that the newly inaugurated centre will benefit the students and expressed that there will be a big change if all the infrastructures which are being developed in RIMS campus become functional.
