KCP (MC) leader Lalheiba released

Imphal, July 13 2012:
Commander in Chief of the proscribed UG group Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-MC) Khwairakpam Brojen alias Gopendro alias Lalheiba (40) was released from Sajiwa Jail to undergo peace talk with India government.
Lalheiba is the son of Kh Sangaijao and Kh Baruni of Keirenphabi Mayai Leikai, Bishnupur District.
He was greeted by locals of Keirenphabi and his parents and siblings when he came out of the jail.
He first greeted his parents by touching their feet.
While talking to mediapersons, Lalheiba said that he has accepted to start talk with India government for peace, stability and development in the state.
He said that the reason behind the decision to undergo peace talk with Centre after years of armed revolutionary movement is to bring a change in the state and his way of revolution.
Whether the peace talk will bear fruit or not depends on the transparency and commitment of India government.
Later, he was taken by troops of 30 Assam Rifles in a Black Bolero to Koirengei, where he would stay till the peace talk begins.with Centre after years of armed revolutionary movement is to bring a change in the state and his way of revolution.
