Indian Army organises medical camp, awareness session

Indian Army organised a' medical camp at Bishnupur district for veterans and their dependents.
The camp spanning over three days from May 6 to 8 May 2024 witnessed a turn Out of 102 ex-servicemen and their dependents.
During the camp, essential healthcare provisions and dental services from medical and dental officers of the Indian Army were provided.
In addition to the above, free medicines were also distributed.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army also organised an interactive session on 'Menstrual Hygiene' at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Leimakhong attended by 61 girls.
The conducting officer presented a detailed lecture on the topic and also addressed queries and clarified taboos related to menstrual health management, menstrual hygiene, use of sanitary pads, menstrual cup etc during the session.
The staff of the school expressed gratitude to the Medical Officer of the Indian Army for the valuable guidance.
