3DPCOE Hackathon concludes

The 3DPCOE Hackathon 2024, a two-day event organised by AMTRON at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati ended on August 28 with grand prizes going to the winning teams.
Funded under the PM DEVINE scheme by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India, the hackathon has attracted a diverse group of 300 students from various institutions across the North Eastern Region and PAN India.
The event kicked off with a grand inauguration ceremony, where Narsing Pawar, Managing Director of Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON), delivered an inspiring opening address.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished personalities including Ambassador, Ajay Bisaria, IFS (retired); Rajiv Pant, VC, Assam University, Silchar; Prof Narendranath S, Director, NERIST, Itanagar; Dr A K Tripathi, former Dean, College of Agriculture, Pasighat; Sankha Dip Das, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology; Bikram Prasad, Chief Manager, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited; A S Dewan, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati; Dharmendra Yadav, National Institute of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare; and Jaspreet Sidhu, CEO, NCAM.
The event featured insightful panels with industry and institutional speakers, and the TiE-Delhi NCR Chapter handled the event management.
Following the inauguration, the participants competed in five competitive categories: MSME-Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Agriculture, Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL), and Others.
Participants were immersed in a competitive environment, showcasing their innovative ideas and technological skills using Industry 4.0 Tools.
The competition culminated with the announcement of four grand prize winners, each receiving a substantial cash and services prize of Rs 50,00,000 per team.
The ATL category recognized five young and dynamic teams with Rs.10,00,000 each.
