Lockdown extended till Aug 6

Imphal, July 30 2020:
In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases among people with no travel history in the State, Government has extended the lockdown by another 7 days till August 6 .
The list of permitted services and activities are as follows;
Supply of essential goods: Home delivery of essential commodities; collection, processing, distribution and milk and milk products.
No vehicle will be allowed to move.
Movement of cargo and goods: All goods vehicles are allowed to cross inter-State border at Mao, Jiribam and Jessami; movement of all trucks and other carrier vehicles with two drivers and one helper including empty trucks after delivery of goods or for pick up of goods; Shops for truck repair and dhabas on highways are allowed with social distancing norms prescribed.

Health related activities: Hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and dispensaries; all chemists, pharmacies and all kinds of medicine shops including Jan Aushadi Kendras and medical equipment shops; medical laboratories and collection centres; veterinary hospitals, dispensaries, clinics and related pathological laboratories and sale and supply of vaccines.
Public utilities: Distribution of LPG through home delivery; postal services including post office; telecommunication and internet services; operation of water/sanitation, power supply and waste management sectors; petrol pumps-only for essential services as notified by CAF&PD Department; airports and airlines.
Agriculture and related activities: Farming operations by farmers and farm workers in field in rural areas; agencies engaged in procurement of agricultural and horticultural produce including farmer producers companies.
Fisheries: Operation of fish farms; fish feed plants.
Animal husbandry: Operation of poultry farms and hatcheries; piggery and dairy development; animal feed manufacturing.
Finance sector: Reserve Bank of India and RBI regulated financial market to function with minimal staff not exceeding 30 percent of the existing staff; bank branches and ATMs and business correspondents to function with minimal staff not exceeding 30 percent of the existing staff; LIC to function with minimal staff not exceeding 10 percent of the existing staff. Social sector: Operation of homes for children/ disabled/ mentally challenged/ senior citizens/ destitutes/ women/ widows; observation homes, after care homes and juvenile homes; operation of Anganwadi centres by distribution of food items and nutrition at the doorsteps of beneficiaries.
Commercial and private establishments: Print and electronic media; courier services; private security services; food processing units; bottled water manufacturing and distribution.
Construction activities: Construction of roads and railway projects including MSMEs in rural areas ie outside the limits of Municipal Corporation and Municipalities; construction and maintenance of rural water supply schemes; construction of works in construction projects, within limits of Municipal Corporations and Municipalities, where workers are available on site and no workers are required to be brought in from outside (in situ construction) .
Movement of persons: Private vehicles for emergency services including medical and veterinary care; all exempted category of employees attending work place.
Offices of Central and State Government: All Central and State Government offices dealing essential services will be opened; all officers of the rank of Under Secretary and above in the Secretariat shall attend; in respect of other categories, 10 percent of the staff will attend as decided by the Administrative Secretary/Head of Department.
All treasury offices will function with required staff; all offices dealing with essential services will function normally; all Central Government offices may function as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India.
