Sit-in condemns bomb attack

Imphal, October 18 2024: A sit-in protest was staged today at Top Khongnangkhong Community Hall condemning the bomb attack at the residence of Laishram Badalkumar Singh (59), former Director of Management of Information System (MIS) in Top Khongnangkhong on Thursday by unknown miscreants.

The protest demonstration was jointly organised by the Women Development Committee (WDC), Top Khongnangkhong and The Public Club.

Speaking to the media, WDC president Ksh Shantibala condemned the bomb attack carried out in a residential area and urged all concerned to not repeat such acts in the future.

She asserted that the bomb attack has created more tension among the public who are already reeling due to the ongoing conflict.

She also appealed to all concerned to not cause fear among the people and solve any issue through negotiation.
