Imphal, May 09 2010:
Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA), while condoling the death of two youths, in police firing at Mao Gate on May 6 has condemned the police action.
A press release of the students' body said, despite the fact that the situation at Mao was volatile and sensitive, the State Cabinet reaffirmed its stand resulting to the death of the two youths and inflicting injuries on many.
SDSA added that the State Govt must be held responsible for any untoward incident in the coming days.
SDSA warned that it would resort to any form of agitation if Manipur police commandos and IRB personnel are not withdrawn from every part of Naga dominated areas.
