Imphal, November 03 2013:
The outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) categorically asserted that the recent serial bomb blasts targeting innocent civilians, particularly the one at Yaiskul that killed three people and left many others injured were part of the secret warfare of State sponsored terrorism carried out by Indian security forces.
In a statement, Senior Publicity Officer of the armed outfit Ksh Yoiheiba said that the main motive behind all these attacks is to pass on the buck to the revolutionary groups and tarnish their image in the eyes of the people.
People should understand that unlike Indian Security forces which are on a secret W.H.A.M.(War in the Heart and Mind) Project, armed UGs always ensure no casualty is caused to civilians as far as possible even when they have to launch attack on security personnel and in case of civilian casualties, they always admitted.
The blast site at Yaiskul is not a place frequented by security personnel and everyone knows it is public bus parking.
So, what could the UGs gain from triggering a bomb in such a place?, Yoiheiba questioned.
On the other hand, it is secret agenda on the lips of every Indian security personnel to kill at least 10 innocent civilians if any of their personnel is killed or wounded in the attack launched by UGs.
There have been numerous past instances and many Indian army officers involved in fake encounter killings and ransom demand have been decorated with Ashok Chakra, Yoiheiba said, while recalling the involvement of Ashok Chakra awardee Major Sriramkumar of 39 Assam Rifles in the killing of two brothers, Nobo and Govind of Bashikhong in 2009 and abduction of Yengkhom Krishnadas of Kakching Sumak Leikai from the parental house of his wife at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba, for a ransom amount of Rs 25 lakh and abandoning his lifeless body at Lilong in 2010 as well as that of the involvement of Major Anand Kanti of 22 Assam Rifles in the extortion of money from the public in Jiribam in connivance with some cadres of a SoO signatory UG group.
Yoiheiba also ridiculed the often repeated statements of the politicians that violence could not solve any problem and questioned what they feel about the 13-year old non-violence agitation launched by Irom Chanu Sharmila against prolonged imposition of draconian law like Armed Forces Special Powers Act.
