Senapati, July 31 2026: The Naga People's Organisation (NPO), Senapati, has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Naga Mothers' Association president Vilanuo Angela Yhome, who passed away on Friday morning.

In a condolence message, the NPO said the Naga people of Senapati were deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of Yhome.

Her demise is an immense loss not only to her bereaved family but also to the entire Naga community, the organisation said, adding that she would always be remembered for her selfless service and compassionate leadership for the welfare of the Naga people.

The NPO also recalled her tireless efforts towards promoting peace, unity, justice and the dignity of the Naga people.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, relatives, the Naga Mothers' Association and all those mourning her loss, the NPO prayed that Almighty God grant them strength, comfort and peace during the difficult time.
