Chandel and Thoubal DYASO set to organise District Level Youth Festival 2024

Chandel/Thoubal, September 06 2024: The District Youth Affairs & Sports Office of Chandel and Thoubal are gearing up to organise District Level Youth Festival 2024 in their respective districts.

According to a press release issued by M Tilok Singh, District Youth Affairs & Sports Officer, Chandel, the District Level Youth Festival 2024 will be held at Indoor Hall of Chandel Christian village from September 27 to 28 .

Interested youths have been instructed to collect the entry form from the District Youth Affairs & Sports Office, Chandel during office hours.

The last date of submission of entry form is September 22, said the release.

The components of the featival are thematic competition, group folk dance, group folk song, solo folk dance, solo folk song, poetry, story writing, painting and declamation.

Separately, DYASO Thoubal will organise District Level Youth Festival 2024 at Multipurpose Indoor Stadium, Haotabi Lampak Kshetri Leikai, from September 20 to 22 .

Youth centres/clubs/organizations and associations within the jurisdiction of Thoubal district can collect the entry form from DYASO Office, Kodompokpi Sports Complex, Wangjing for boys and girls between the ages of 15 years to 29 years.

The entry form should be submitted on or before September 18 .

The competitions for the youth festival in Thoubal include thematic competition, group folk dance, group folk song, solo folk dance, solo folk song, poetry, story writing, painting, declamation as well as handicraft, textile and agro products.
