One-day training program on implementation of e-Office conducted

A one day training program on implementation of e-Office for "Master Trainer" and "PIMS Admin" was held today at the Banting Hall, RIMS, Imphal.
According to a statement issued by N Phillip Singh, media advisor, RIMS Imphal, the program was graced by Professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director RIMS, Imphal in the presence of RK Mecolt Singh, Deputy Director (Admin), RIMS, Imphal; Professor N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal; Professor Brogen Singh Akoijam, Dean (Academic), RIMS, Imphal and S Sarat Singh, CAO/FA, RIMS, Imphal respectively.
The training program was conducted by RailTel Company with the collaboration of National Informatics Centre (NIC) .
Team of officials from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) also visited and monitored the training program, added the statement.
Addressing the gathering at the outset of the training program.
Professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma spoke about the journey initiated to avail the e-Office facility at RIMS.
He initiated the process by contacting the NIC on June 8, 2023 and even paid a sum of Rs 50 lakhs to set up the e-Office system facility at RIMS.
Professor G Sunil Kumar Sharma also extended his appreciation for the RIMS IT Cell Team for their tireless efforts which contributed in the process of setting up the system.
Further, the RIMS Director also mentioned that the e-Office facility system will enhance transparency, increase accountability, assure data security and data integrity, promote innovation by releasing staff energy and time from unproductive procedures and transform the Government work culture and ethics.
The training program was attended by Principal, Dental College RIMS, Imphal, Principal, College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal, HODs, Chief Nursing Officers, staff of Account Sections & Project Cell, staff of Engineering Cell, SOs , ASO, UDC, LDC, PAs of HODs, Stenographers, staff of IT Cell and store keeper i/c of RIMS, Imphal.
