Imphal, October 23 2024: Power Minister Th Biswajit will appear before the appointed Advocate Commissioner on November 6, said his counsel in the High Court of Manipur yesterday.

A single bench of the Court was hearing an election petition filed against Th Biswajit when his counsel informed the Court of this.

The election petition was filed by Seram Neken against the Minister, who also filed a petition against Seram Neken.

The Court of Justice Ahanthem Bimol heard both the petitions yesterday.

During the hearing, the Court rejected an application filed by Th Biswajit for summoning three officers, Officer-in-Charge, Imphal police station, Officer-in-Charge, Lamphel police station and Officer-in-Charge, Porompat police station for their examination as witnesses in the case.
