Imphal, May 08 2009: In continuation of his efforts to establish ground level contact with civilians, IG AR (S) Maj Gen AK Choudhary visited Ukhrul town on May 6 and interacted with prominent personalities and leader of social organisations of the town including TNL president Stephen Angkang and headman of Ukhrul town Wungreipan.

TKS president W Shimrei, TSL president AS Dina, TMNL president Zanyo TNWL president K Shimrei, S Shaiza and Makhan Aggarwal were also present during the interaction programme.

AK Choudhary called upon the people of Ukhrul to come forward in strengthening the hand of civil administration for development works being initiated by the Government.

He also presented gifts to social organisations, schools and orphanages, conveyed an AR PRO release.
