Imphal, June 03 2017:
Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has warned of launching intense agitation in case the authority concerned fails to take up appropriate action against the erring headmistress and teachers of Samurou High School.
Addressing media persons at its office located at Konjeng Hazari Leikai, KSA president Moirangthem Luxman alleged that the school headmistress has not been discharging her duty accordingly as she could not do anything against those teachers who do not attend school regularly.
He claimed that students of the school are not given identity card and results of the examination conducted by the school are yet to be declared thereby putting the future of its students at stake.
Besides not taking any extra curricular activity, the school headmistress has failed to look after the needs of the school, he pointed out.
He reminded that student's union of the school had protested against the 'incompetent' school headmistress on May 3 and 4 last.
Luxman reiterated that KSA met Education Minister Th Radheshyam on May 16 wherein the Minister assured to take up action against the headmistress but the same has not been done yet.
Taking serious note of the 'threat' served by some of the school teachers that student's union of the school will be abolished, he wondered why the Education Minister has not able to resolve the impasse in the school.
KSA will launch intense form of agitation if the authority concerned does not pay heed to the call of the student's union and the association, he cautioned.
