CRPF organises painting, essay writing & quiz competition

86th Battalion CRPF under the aegis IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector organised a Painting, Essay Writing & Quiz Competition at Little Angels School, Lamphelpat, Imphal on Friday.
The competition was conducted under the command of W Nandini Devi, Second-in-Command, 86 Bn CRPF and supervision of Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF with enthusiastic support of Little Angels School, Lamphelpat, said a release issued by CRPF.
The competition was conducted on the theme "Clean India of My Dream" as a significant part of the nationwide "SWACHHATA HI SEVA" campaign, which emphasizes the importance of cleanliness and sustainability.
The event was held to promote cleanliness awareness among young students, encouraging them to actively contribute towards keeping their surroundings clean and green.
Around 200 students participated in the competition which was conducted in three groups- A (Class I to IV), B (Class V to VII) and C (Class VIII to X) .
Winners of the competition were awarded with special prizes.
Acknowledgement certificates were also given to all the participants.
At the event, W Nandini Devi enlightened the students about the importance of the SWACHHATA HI SEVA campaign.
"Children are future assets of our Nation and values & morals inculcated in their early days will lay the groundwork for developing them into well disciplined citizens", she added.
Little Angels School, Principal, Soram Dilip Singh; Headmistress, Sorokhaibam Anita Devi and Administrator, Brojen Wahengbam along with all the school staff and unit officers, SO's and Jawans attended the programme.
