"When I was studying in Class IX, I used to make hair scrunchies and sell them to earn money," said Diana.
Soon after, in search of a stable business, she started taking interest in baking cakes.
Diana said she received a 15-day baking course from Diana Greencan industries, and further learned from one of her sisters.
In August 2022, she started selling cakes from her house, and at the same time began training others on baking.
Diana said she has so far given training to around 30 individuals.
She divides the training sessions into two sessions--morning and evening.
She charges Rs 5,000 per person for 10-day training, Rs 7,000 for 15-day training and Rs 10,000 for 20-day training.
Even as she has a busy schedule and has to attend college, Diana said her mother and siblings give her a hand and support her business.
As she perfected the art of baking cake, her brand "Nungshi Khudol Cake and Gift" has boomed.
Daina said she named her business "Nungshi Khudol Cake and Gift" to celebrate the bond of love between families and friends.
She has a cake for every celebration.
She has cakes and gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and all festivities.
She receives most of the orders via Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.
The products are then delivered through Keithel Express.
Customers also collect their orders from her house.
Diana receives tonnes of orders, but as she has not yet employed workers, she is taking only the orders she can manage.
While the sale depends on the season, Diana said she earns a profit of around Rs 40,000-Rs 50,000 a month.
The price of the cake depends on the design and the flavour.
A 1/2 Kg cake starts selling at Rs 400 and 1 Kg at Rs 700 .
Diana said she gives special discounts on festive seasons.
"Starting a business requires investment, but we youngsters also need the support of our families.
If we are dedicated, sincere and hardworking, we can get the support we need.
Youths shouldn't waste time.
They should avoid using drugs and spending too much time on their phones," Diana said.
Diana said after completing her education she is planning to stick to the "cake business" and grow her brand further.
"At present, I'm running the shop from our house.
I would love to contribute to my society by giving jobs to our people.
I hope to open a shop in the near future and employ locals," Diana said.
