Public meeting of BJP held at Kangpokpi
Source: The Sangai Express

Kangpokpi, February 19 2022: Temjen Imna Along, president BJP Nagaland Pradesh and Minister of Higher Education & Tribal Affairs, Government of Nagaland has appealed to the people of Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency to vote for Nemcha Kipgen to ensure an inclusive governance where the poor and downtrodden are not left behind.

The BJP Nagaland Pradesh president made the appeal during a public meeting of Kangpokpi AC BJP candidate Nemcha Kipgen held at Kangpokpi District Headquarters today.

Temjen Imna Along stated that Nemcha Kipgen is not just a leader of the people, she is also a sincere and faithful worker whose contributions and kindness especially during the Covid pandemic has echoed the entire North East.

"Her service towards humankind during the pandemic exhibited the inclusive governance of the BJP Government and the ideas and vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi", he added.

Urging the workers of BJP to stay strong and work diligently for the ensuing election, he said, "In the election, there is no friend or enemy.

You make your candidate win with a record margin so that Nemcha could face the central and state leaders and have the voice to say that my people have sent me here with a record margin trusting on all of you to serve the people of Manipur" .

He maintained that the BJP vision for an inclusive India, for a strong and resilient India, for a prosperous India, which includes a prosperous Manipur, a united Manipur, a developed Manipur, and a Manipur where the poorest of the poor have the opportunity to do their best in their life will remain forever.

Nemcha Kipgen conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to the visiting BJP Nagaland Pradesh office bearers for attending the public meeting in connection with the ensuing Assembly election on behalf of the people of Kangpokpi AC.

She stated that the distance between Manipur and Delhi has reduced and the state has found its place on the nation's map in terms of connectivity which is all because of the central leaders who instilled the spirit of oneness and vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' .

Highlighting the recently released manifesto of BJP by the National president JP Nadda, Nemcha Kipgen said, "the continuous efforts of our central leaders under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get a first-hand account of expectations and aspirations of the people of Manipur has ensured inclusive development for all" .

She further stated that Manipur needs a double engine Government for all-around development which will be possible only if BJP returns to power with an absolute majority in the ensuing assembly election.

Tingnei Lhouvum, president BJP Kangpokpi Mandal delivered the welcome address while Rev Thangsat invoked the prayer.

It may be mentioned that Temjen Imna Along was accompanied by Benjamin Yepthomi, state vice president; Basu Damani, state vice president; Kuputo Shohe, chief spokesperson; Nini Cheng, co-chief spokesperson; Eduzu Theluo, state general secretary; Khevishe Achumi, state general secretary; Mahesh Kotecha, state treasurer; Sanjit, state vice president(Minority Morcha); Wangphong Konyak, state president(ST Morcha) and Hokaito Zhimomi, state spokesperson.
