Fringes releases its debut music album

Imphal, July 09 2012:
New blues band, Fringes released its first album, Trapped in a glittering function held at Rita Caf� yesterday.
Among others, Sagolband A/C MLA RK Imo and eminent footballers Rennedy, Gauramani and Chittaranjan were present in the releasing function.
The music album totally based on the social issues of the conflict ridden Manipur has eight songs of blues genre.
Oriental Pumpkin, the event management group is the brain behind the production.
Trapped is the product of social reality of Manipur that reflects the helplessness of common people who are trapped in a critical situation, Lead guitarist of the band, Sanjeev said.

Fringes is a blend of both young and old of State musicians.
Recently, Fringes performed in the North East Business Summit held at La Meridien New Delhi.
In Imphal, Fringes shared the limelight with Parikrama at Nokia Yaoshang Rock Fest held at Yaiskul recently.
From the angst of a youth bogged down by poverty and unemployment to the tragedy of a people living in the shadow of violence, Trapped articulates the idea of being caught in a quagmire.
While it laments, questions and rages against the helplessness of the people, it also underlines and believes in the possibility of change and survival.
