Meeyamgi Numit to be held today at Thoubal

Jiribam/Thoubal, August 17 2022: District Administration Thoubal is all set for a successful conduct of "Meeyamgi Numit" on Thursday at the Counting Hall of Deputy Commissioner's Office Complex, Thoubal from 9.30 am onwards.

The normal programme of "Meeyamgi Numit" is organised on the 3rd Friday of every month but due to general holiday the programme is held a day earlier.

For smooth functioning and better facilitation & coordination, a special dedicated "Meeyamgi Numit Cell" has already been opened by the District Administration.

DLOs will settle/dispose of the grievances at the spot itself if possible.

Certain public services that can be delivered on the day including beneficiaries oriented schemes like CMHT, PMJAY, old age pension and disability related benefits will be arranged by concerned departments.

Deputy Commissioner, A Subhash Singh, IAS urged the public to use the forum to address their grievances and submit their suggestions.

"They can submit their grievances in writing (on a plain paper) impossible, along with necessary documents so that die officials can process the matter in a speedy manner", he added.

Moreover, DC Jiribam, W Malemnganba Chenglei has also notified that the "District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit" for the month of August 2022 will be held on August 18 .

The event will be held at the premises of Office of the DC Jiribam in Chingdong Leikai.

The DC further directed all the DLOs to attend the event to settle/dispose of grievances at the spot itself.
