Manipur Creation's showroom opened

Changes in the industrial sector in the State will happen in the coming years and the economic condition of the State will gradually improve, Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam said.
The Minister was speaking during the inauguration function of Manipur Creation's exclusive garments showroom at Thangmeiband Kabrabam Leikai.
Govindas Konthoujam said that the State needs innovative youth for healthy growth of industrial movement or industrial revolution in the State.
He stated that opening of such showroom to exhibit indigenous products will pay dividends in achieving the goal of self reliance.
It will also provide employment opportunity to many people.
The Minister also stressed the need to popularise indigenous products in order to attract investors from other States.
Govindas further encouraged craftsmen of the State to look for larger and wider market avenues without confining their produces only in the State.
Asserting bandh/blockade along the highways is impeding developmental activities, the Minister further urged all concerned to refrain from calling bandh and blockade on the highways.
The function was attended by Kh Joykisan, Ex-MLA Thangmeiband AC as the president.
Chairman of Manipur creation, Basun Raj Koijam gave the welcome address.
