U-14 cricket: AKSDO, SHADOW, KSDO, PCC enter semis

Imphal, February 27 2024:
AKSDO, Khangabok; SHADOW, Thangmeiband; KSDO, Kiyamgei; and PCC, Mayai Koibi entered the semi-finals of the 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys' Tournament 2023-24 .
AKSDO defeated PTRC, Patsoi Part-IV by 5 wickets in the quarter final match at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband on Tuesday.
AKSDO's bowlers led by Md Ushmal Ali (3 wickets) and Khundrakpam Boiton (2) scuttled out PTRC for only 99 in 23.2 overs before their batsmen overhauled the target in 25.5 overs with the loss of 5 wickets with captain Chingamba Elangbam (42 not out), guiding the team home.
At PTRC Ground, Patsoi Part-IV, SHADOW crushed YWC, Langthabal by 85 runs as the latter was bowled out for 50 in 16.1 overs while chasing SHADOW'S 135/8.KSDO edged past TRAU by 2 wickets in a closely contested quarter final match at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
Captain Mutum Swabhiman's 92 runs off 78 balls helped TRAU score 192 for 3 in the 30-over game.
Chasing the total, KSDO lost wickets at regular intervals but Md Washim (40) and captain Kh Firdos (35) played vital knocks to reach the target in 29.2 overs despite losing 8 wickets.
At Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, PCC edged past AL-AMEEN by 3 wickets as the latter managed to score only 83 in 25.2 overs, courtesy Lamnganba Nongmaithem (5 wickets).
Pravin Kumar's 36 runs proved decisive as PCC scripted victory in 23.2 overs losing 7 wickets.
