SSC to clash ETL in BK Trophy final

Imphal, February 11 2015: SSC, Irilbung and ETL, Thongju will clash in the finals of the BK Trophy 2015 after defeating their opponents in the semi-finals of the 6th State level open tennis ball cricket tournament (BK Trophy) organised by Young Crickets, Bamon Kampu at Irilbung High School ground.

In today's first semi final, SSC, Irilbung downed 11 Stars, Lilong by 35 runs.

Electing to bat first, SSC made 110 runs all out.

Rahul and Tezkumar made 36 and 22 runs off 30 and 15 balls respectively.

Pandum of 11 Stars took 3 wickets in 4 overs.

In reply 11 Stars compiled 75 runs all out in 17.3 overs.

Tipu was the highest run getter scoring 28 runs off 18 balls.

SSC's Raju and Sushil took 3 wickets each in 2.3 and 4 overs respectively.

The man of the match award went to SSC's Raju.

In the second semi final, ETL, Thongju thrashed PYC, Bamon Kampu by 7 wickets.

PYC made 75 runs all out in 16 overs.

Kishan of ETL took 4 wickets in 4 overs.

In return, Prasantamani's confident 38 runs helped ETL to register a convincing 7 wicket win.

Kishan of ETL was adjudged the man of the match.
