U-15 Women's Cricket : AKSDO thrash Al-Ameen by 126 runs, go top provisionally

AKSDO, Khangabok climbed atop league table of the 1st MNCA U-15 Women's Cricket Tournament provisionally with a 126-run thrashing of Al-Ameen, Lilong today in their last match at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong.
After winning the toss AKSDO elected to bat first and amassed 154 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 30 overs and skittled out Al-Ameen for just 28 runs within 8.2 overs to earn their fifth win in 7 matches.
AKSDO were slow off the blocks but ended their innings on 154/6 courtesy of 47 extras conceded by Al-Ameen bowlers and contributions from Creety Moirangthem 23 not out, Alish Thokchom 24, Bijiya Khundrakpam 20, Laishram Linthoi 17 not out, Rabina Khundrakpam 12 and Langlen Ningthoujam 10 .

WM Rabiya 2/20 and Laishram Langlenthoibi 2/23 shared four wickets in this innings as Saliha picked one.
Al-Ameen, however, lost all the wickets within 8.2 overs to finish their campaign with only one victory.
Rabina opened the account for AKSDO by bowling out Fashihatul Nesha for the highest 7 in the third over and clinched two more wickets in the form of Saliha and Laishram Lembi on ducks in the fifth over to finish with a three wicket haul.
Alish Thokchom then scalped three wickets in the 6th over, all on ducks before completing her four wicket haul by Removing WM Rabiya on duck in the 8th over to leave Al-Ameen tottering at 24/8 .
Creety Moirangthem then took the honour to remove RK Bema and Sureiya Phundreimayum on ducks in the first two deliveries of the 9th over to set up the Al-Ameen collapse at 28 .
Alish Thokchom who added highest 24 for AKSDO and returned with the best bowling figures of 4/10 in her spell of four overs, was adjudged player of the match.
The result lifted AKSDO (NRR: 7.173) on top provisionally above THAU (NRR : 5.192) who have won five matches and still have a match left to play against FORCE.
Notably two top teams will play for the title of the 8-team tournament.
Yesterday, THAU, Thangmeiband stretched their winning to five games by crushing YPHUC, Lalambung Makhong by 125 runs at PCC ground, Mayaikoibi.
