State bodybuilding team emerge champions at 14th Junior Mr India

Imphal, February 27 2024: Manipur bodybuilding team were crowned champions at the 14th Junior Men/Masters/ Divyang Bodybuilding; Junior Men and Women's Sports Model Physique and Women's Swim Suit National Championship held at Chennai from February 23 to 25 .

The Manipur team bagged five silver and five bronze medals at the championship to win on top as four athletes finished fourth and two athletes finished fifth.

The athletes who won silver medal at the championship are Arveenkumar Oinamcha (Divyang : open), Heisnam Flood (Masters 50 to 60 years : open), Sinam Momocha (junior men's bodybuilding 70 kg), Keithellakpam Malemnganba (junior men's 75 kg) and Chingkheinganba Athokpam (junior men's bodybuilding +75 kg).

Meanwhile, RK Athoiba (junior men's bodybuilding 55 kg), Soyaola A Shatsang (Junior Women Model Physique), Thokchom Yaisana (junior men's bodybuilding70 kg), Phamdom Arun (junior men's bodybuilding 65 kg) and Khangembam Rishikanta (junior men's bodybuilding 75+) bagged bronze medals.

The All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) extended a warm welcome to the athletes who arrived yesterday.
