Imphal, February 11 2015: IWVCC registered a comfortable 48-run win over NAPSA in the Twenty 20 Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

IWVCC's decision to bat first after winning the toss was justified as their batsmen went after the NAPSA bowlers.

Kh Bimol led the run feast with a run-a-ball 46, L Azad smashed 31 off 20 balls, K Laiba scored 29 off 32 balls and Kh Basanta made a brisk 24 off 11 balls.

Ultimately, IWVCC amassed a sizeable score of 178 runs in 20 overs losing six wickets.

Despite an unbeaten 63 from Somerendro, NAPSA could not succeed in the stiff run chase, ending up at 130 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets.

Azad was adjudged the man of the match for his quick-fire 31 and one wicket.

Tomorrow, REYS will meet Model Club (A) .
