Nabadwip Meeteis aid village volunteers

Imphal, February 28 2024:
Nine Meetei families settling in Nabadwip Dham in Nadia district of West Bengal have extended aid to village volunteers who are safeguarding Manipur.
The nine families settling in Nabadwip provided an amount of Rs 60,000 to one Okram Joyenba of Singjamei which the latter purchased and distributed medicines as well as edible items including peas, cabbages, cauliflowers, potatoes and others to village volunteers at Kakching Khunou, Sinam Kom (Sanjenlok), Yumnam Khunou and Kadangband.
An amount of Rs 10,000 was also provided to the family of Nongthomba m Micheal who was killed during attack by armed Kuki militants.
