Committee honours Kakching journalists

Kakching, September 21 2023: Committee for Peace and Social Harmony (CPSH), Kakching on Thursday felicitated journalists working in the district during a felicitation programme held at the relief camp set up at Indoor Stadium, Kakching Chumnang Leikai.

Speaking on the occasion, CPSH's Pukhrambam Somarendra noted the role of the media in a civilised world, especially in neutralising spread of rumours and presenting the truth to the people.

The programme has been organised in appreciation of the print and electronic media journalists of the district for performing their duty sincerely, he added.
