Col Ksh John nominated for command course

Colonel Kshetrimayum John Singh has been nominated to attend the esteemed Higher Command Course at the Army War College in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
Colonel John, the only son of (late) Ksh Lalbapu Singh and Sorojini Devi, is from Kakching Turel Wangma.
His journey to this pinnacle of recognition is marked by dedication, valour, and a sterling academic and professional record, informed a statement of Sainik School Imphal Alumni Association (SSIAA) while congratulating him on his achievement.
An alumnus of Sainik School Imphal and the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Colonel John belongs to the 23rd batch of Sainik School Imphal, Netaji House, the statement said while recounting that he exhibited exemplary qualities during his schooling days, was a keen sportsman, gifted learner, and well-disciplined cadet.
Commissioned into the 18 Garhwal Rifles in June 2005, Colonel John's career spans over 19 years of service in diverse terrains and environments both in India and abroad.
He has served in challenging areas, including Super High Altitude at Ladakh and on foreign assignments in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Currently, he commands 18 Garhwal Rifles stationed in Assam.
The announcement of Colonel Kshetrimayum John's nomination for the Higher Command Course was received with applause by the SSIAA, it said while congratulating Colonel John and ex -tending best wishes for Colonel John's future endeavours.
