Legal awareness programme held at Langathel

Thoubal, February 27 2024: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Thoubal along with Legal Aid Clinic, Samaram organised a legal awareness programme on 'POCSO Act 2012, Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection Act, 2015) and Free Legal Aid' at Shining Academy, Langathel.

The event was attended by DLSA chairman and district and sessions judge, Samom Ibjen, Academy vice principal P Premi Devi and DLSA panel lawyer Mayanglambam Swami as the presidium members.

As the resource persons of the programme, Mayanglambam Swami also talked on 'POCSO Act 2012: A Lawyer's Perspective and Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection Act 2015)' while Samom Ibjen deliberated on 'POCSO Act 2012 & Free Legal Aid' .
