Newly wed couple hands over donation box to AMWJU

Imphal, February 27 2024: In a bid to help and show respect to frontline journalists for their service during the ongoing crisis, a newly-wedded couple handed over a donation box and its monetary contents to representatives of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) on February 25 .

A press release issued by Priyo Achom, secretary, IPR, AMWJU, informed that Keisham Demosin Singh, s/o Keisham Gunadhor Singh and Keisham Gunarani Devi from Nongmeibung Chakpram Leikai tied the knot with Oceania Chirom, d/o Chirom Bimol Singh and Chirom Ambrabati from Singjamei Chirom Leikai on February 21 .

Demosin and Oceania had put up the box to collect donations on their wedding day.

The duo handed over the donation box to AMWJU representatives at Manipur Press Club after winding up their Mapam Chakkouba ceremony on February 25 .

AMWJU has extended their gratitude and well-wishes to the couple.
