Senapati, August 11 2015 : Kuki Students' Organization, Saikul Block today expressed serious concern over the alleged systematic delay in completing the construction of barrack type quarters of Pangjang UJB School at Pangjang village, Saikul by the MTDC.

Haokam Haolai, general secretary, KSO, Saikul Block said the work for the barrack type quarters had been assigned to Sadar Hills Autonomous District and MTDC.

The construction of the main structure of the building was assigned to Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council which was completed within a stipulated time.

However, the roofing of the building assigned to MTDC has unfortunately remained incomplete even after two years, rendering inconveniences to the functioning of the school, Haokam Haolai said.

The student body further said MTDC should come up with a reasonable explanation to the public over the delay.

The body also urged MTDC to complete roofing of the school building within a month.
