NEROCA FC, Sangakpham produced another superlative performance to overwhelm Manipur Terriers' FC (MTFC), Leimakhong by a whopping 8-0 margin and clinched the 7th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial crpf football tournament today at Khuman Lampak Main stadium.
The two teams got off to an impressive start.
However, the second quarter of the first half saw the crumbling down of MTFC fort.
In fact, NEROCA FC dominated the game almost throughout the match though there were a few counter attacks by the MTFC.

Even as MTFC defenders gave their best to not allow an inch to their rivals' onslaught, the Sangakpham forwards proved too strong to resist.
Star striker of NEROCA FC Sushilkumar, who grabbed a treble in the match, booted home the opener in the 32nd minute.
Sushilkumar hit his second in the 35th minute to increase the lead while David L latched on a fine pass in the 39th minute to make it 3-0 by half time.
After the break, the jubilant NEROCA FC continued their aggressive game and in the 47th minute, Malemnganba, who has been in superb form, capped with the fourth goal.
Malemnganba was at it again in the 78th minute to complete his brace while Sushilkumar scored another goal in the 84th minute to complete his treble.
Subash (80') and Johnson (90+1) found the back of their rivals' net to virtually seal the match for NEROCA FC.
NEROCA FC defenders had the gumption to challenge with their skills and kept up their good work to prevent any damage to their citadel.
The winners got richer by Rs 1,00,000 while the runners up got Rs 75,000.With 7 goals in his kitty, RN Ngalangmi was presented with the top scorer award of the tournament while L David of NEROCA FC was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
Anup Debnath of NEROCA FC was presented with the best goalkeeper of the tournament while Sushilkumar of NEROCA FC fetched the first goal of the final match award.
All individual winners were given Rs 5000 each.
Governor of Manipur, Dr Najma Heptulla graced the closing function as the chief guest.
The closing ceremony was also attended amongst others by Rajya Sabha MP, MC Mary Kom, and Vikram Sehgal, IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector, CRPF.
Paying homage to the late Shaheed Manoranjan and presentation of various cultural items like Thougal Jagoi, Bihu Dance and Bhangra Dance marked the closing ceremony.
