Final rehearsal for Republic Day held

Bishnupur, January 23 2019: Bishnupur District held the final rehearsal for the upcoming 70th Indian Republic Day Celebration, 2019 today at Mini-Stadium ground.

Altogether, 20 parade contingents from civil police, home guard, ASHA, anganwadi workers and students from different institutions took part in the final rehearsal with Luxmi Devi Thingbaijam, SDPO, Bishnupur as the parade commander.

Bishnupur will celebrate the 70th Republic Day at the Mini-Stadium ground on the January 26 .

Pawan Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of the district will unfurl the National Flag and take the Salute on the occasion.

Cultural programme and presentation of prizes and awards to the deserving individuals will also adorn the celebration.
