Imphal, September 21:
Extending a helping hand to the civilians, 10 JAKLI under 26 Sector of the IGAR (S), distributed rations and stationery to the people of Cheyang village in CHandel district on September 17, said a statement issued by the PRO of Assam Rifles.
Cheyang village is located in one of the most backward regions of the country, said the PRO and added that the rations were distributed to help them tide over the Monsoo and the stationery distributed to the school children to help them in their education.
