Imphal, June 08, 2013:
People for Animal (PFA), Thoubal has rescued a Bengal Slow Loris from Pungdongbam Mayai Leikai.
The animal, which probably wandered from the nearby hillock due to deterioration of its ecology, was found climbing an isolated tree growing in the middle of a paddy field at Pungdongbam Mayai Leikai by a young boy named Thangjam Sanatomba on June 5.The boy and his family member informed PFA Thoubal about the animal which was being kept in their care and it was subsequently rescued.
Managing Trustee of PFA Thoubal L Biswajeet Meitei has observed that we have to protect our ecology to such endangered animals.
